I’m probably the 20,000th Bama fan to tell you this, but Jay Barker is engaged to country music singer Sara Evans. With 7 combined children, Jay has finally overtaken his rival Mark Gottfried in the child department. Jay has a starting line-up and a bench. Congrats to the happy couple.
Richard Hendrix will announce his decision today on either going pro or returning for his senior season. I’m sorry to end this update on such a somber note, but it appears that Victor Ellis has ended his battle with cancer. As our friends at RollBamaRoll.com point out, Victor died late yesterday at the age of 28. Victor was a good man, and I pray that the money he raised will help to the develop medical treatment for rare forms of cancer. This wasn’t unexpected, but it is still difficult news to digest.
