Tennessee Week

Even though people may want to talk about the Ole Miss ending last weekend, I am officially done discussing it from here on out. It is time for UT @ Bama….. at 11:30 am.

What amazes me about this AM kick-off is the fact that for the first time in a while, both teams are having pretty decent seasons. The same could not be said these last 2 seasons (2005 UT and 2006 Bama were both mediocre teams, although they ended up on CBS). Now we have to deal with the army of Daves as LF Sports comes to town *grumbles due to hatred of watching LF Sports games*

I’m never been much of a smack talker, but I may make an exception this week. The insults will be hard and heavy from both sides, so don’t freak out when you see 20 billion pictures of Nick Saban or Bear Bryant. Check out the Vol Blogs on the side all week long to see the big orange perspective.

One warning, expect to see plenty of this on Saturday morning:

Stay safe, act smart, and remember that the Great Pumpkin arrives in Tuscaloosa on Saturday.

Yeah, but when you look at the other SEC games, it’s kind of a no brainer.

    Last year:
    Arkansas – OM
    UGA – MSU
    Auburn – Tulane
    USC – Vandy
    LSU – Fresno State

    This year:
    Vandy – USC
    Arkansas – OM
    MSU – WVU
    UF – UK (CBS)
    Auburn – LSU (ESPN)

Also, UT was ranked 7th when coming into this game last year.

Still, we at least deserve an ESPN 2 slot.

Oh yeah. I didn’t even think about that. I’m not sure what kind of contracts the networks have with each other. I know CBS gets first pick on some Saturdays, and CBS on others. I’m not sure how LF comes into the mix. I’d be interested if someone found out.

I love the picture of Fulmer. 🙂
