He apparently needs a few thousand dollars the easy way…. selling his 2004 undefeated Auburn ring. I normally don’t take cheap jokes like this, but come on man…. why in the world would you sell your ring? If I were on a championship team of any kind, I’d keep that sucker and flash it to any passer by who asks me what time it is on the street. It’s one more step in a new trend of players selling their legacies on eBay.
I doubt this is his account. It probably belongs to some ticket scalper who got a hold of this thing from Campbell through some kind of transaction.

[...] I’m not sure what’s more interesting, that Campbell, a starting quarterback in the NFL, needed to sell his ring or that the ring is emblazoned with the words “NATIONAL CHAMPIONS”. The seller must be getting some flack for that (I’m not sure why… after all, they were the “people’s champions“) as he says in his write up “I will not answer any questions regarding the 2004 ‘National Championship’. . . . So please spare me the questions and/or comments about USC, who the true champion is, this ring is a fraud, etc.” (Hat Tip: Tide Druid) [...]

I would’ve kept that ring if I was Campbell because that’s the only “championship” ring he’ll ever see going forward. The Skins suck and in 3 years he probably won’t be the QB.

Don’t think it’s Jason Campbell’s, more like Anthony Campbell, also #17, Freshman DB/WR in 2004 who never materialized for Auburn.
He would probably need the cash, not Jason.

Well, there is this on the description….
“The ring bears the name of #17 Jason Campbell who was the star quarterback in 2004 and is now the starter for the Washington Redskins.”

The pics just show #17 CAMPBELL on it.
Like I said its probably Anthony Campbell’s, purely coincidence he had the same last name and same number of the SEC MVP that year.

It has already been established on less Anti-Auburn websites that this is a salesman sample ring.
